Journalism professor takes part in
Tucson Festival of Books March 14-15

Mort Rosenblum, a journalist who has reported from more than 200 countries and who teaches a course on international journalism at the UA, will take part in the Tucson Festival of Books at the UA March 14-15.

Rosenblum will discuss "Hot Type: The Life of a Journalist" at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 15, in the Integrated Learning Center Room 150. Rosenblum has written on subjects ranging from environmental calamity to tango dancing by the Seine. He won an Overseas Press Club Award in 1989 and has been nominated for eight Pulitzer Prizes.

Rosenblum will talk on "Saving the World, One Mouthful at a Time" at 1 p.m. Sunday on the Arizona Public Media Culinary Stage on the UA Mall. Rosenblum's latest book is Escaping Plato's Cave: How America's Blindness to the Rest of the World Threatens Our Survival.
