Faculty/Staff Kudos Week of April 28, 2008Susan Knight and Jeannine Relly were honored as outstanding faculty members at the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society tea April 18.Relly received an "Outstanding Honors Faculty Member" award at the University of Arizona Honors College Awards Ceremony on April 24. Linda Lumsden has won a $3,000 summer grant from the SBS Research Institute for her project "COMRADES: Visions and Values of the American Radical Press, 1900-1920." Lumsden also was a guest on the April 24 airing of "World Harmony," a program on Access Tucson television. She discussed the history of the suffrage movement as part of a program on women's rights. Michael Tearne received a $1,000 scholarship toward his law school studies at Notre Dame from PFLAG Ð Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.
