David Cuillier is the author of a research article in the Autumn 2008 issue of Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly. The article is titled "Access attitudes: A social learning approach to examining community engagement and support for press access to government records."

Shahira Fahmy's article "Embeds' Perceptions of Censorship: Can You Criticize a Soldier Then have Breakfast With Him in the Morning?" appeared in the January 2009 issue of Mass Communication and Society. It was written with Thomas J. Johnson.

Celeste González de Bustamante was quoted in a Dec. 25, 2008, article in the Tucson Citizen on the dwindling number of Hispanic media outlets in Tucson. Read it here.

Lew Serviss copy edited the book Attacks on the Press in 2008 for the Committee to Protect Journalists.
