Faculty Kudos - Week of Jan. 28, 2008Celeste González de Bustamante has received a Franklin Research Grant from the American Philosophical Society, which she will use to conduct research in Mexico this summer for a book on the history of television news. She also has been invited to visit the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in February as a Hearst Foundation Scholar.
Student KudosEric Schwartz had his article on wasp brains published in the Jan. 23 Arizona Daily Star.Nicole Santa Cruz, one of the department's Don Bolles fellows covering the legislature in Phoenix, had an article printed in the Jan. 27 issue of the Arizona Republic on the governor's plan to move some inmates.
