Faculty Kudos -- Week of Nov. 13, 2006

Two more students in Jay Rochlin's Feature Writing class have been published in Inside Tucson Business. Valarie Potell wrote a feature story on two UA graduates who've opened a gelato shop that was published in the Nov. 3 issue. And Chelsea D'Amico wrote the cover story for the Oct. 30 issue of ITB that featured a local costume shop.

Photographs by Rochlin and student Aaron Gudenkauf are on display through November at Hilltop Gallery in Nogales. Gudenkauf's photo essay on the Nogales High School band is featured. Rochlin's work, "Snap Judgments: Embedded with BORSTAR," is a series on photographs and an essay on a border crosser from Honduras. Rochlin and Gudenkauf's photos were part of a show called "Faces of Nogales."
