About the Internship
We are looking for a fellow who can help bring stories to life through a fellowship with The Texas Tribune's growing multimedia team. You will do everything from creating zippy social media shorts to live-streaming breaking news or assisting with long-form documentaries.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Pitch, shoot and edit exciting Texas news stories for an engaged online audience
- Work closely with the multimedia team and reporters to expand the Tribune's growing online multimedia presence
Qualifications & Requirements
An ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Familiarity and experience with multimedia journalism are preferred
- Working knowledge of audio/video equipment
- Experience in editing software like Adobe Premiere is a big plus
