About the Internship
Baltimore magazine’s growing digital department is seeking students with refined production and post-production skills and an interest in video journalism for an internship. Interns will gain experience in shooting and editing short-form, documentary-style videos, as well as assisting with live-streaming videos for our social media platforms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Working toward a degree in journalism, film, or similar discipline
- Strong editing and narrative storytelling skills
- Ability to troubleshoot lighting and audio issues before post-production
- Ability to work in the field with limited supervision
- Experience with Adobe Premiere editing software
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Basic understanding of copyright law
- Must be available for 15+ hours a week
