Tom Beal is a senior reporter for the Arizona Daily Star, where he has worked since 1974.
A graduate of Rutgers University College of South Jersey in Camden, Beal has held numerous posts at the Star, including police reporter, assistant city editor, city editor, editorial page columnist, special projects editor and team leader for the politics and government team.
He taught reporting and advanced reporting in the department in the mid '90s. He teaches Reporting Public Affairs.
