PEOPLE: DOUGLAS GAWAIN

Gawain Douglas joined the staff of the Tucson Citizen as a page designer in 2003. He is now the senior editor for presentation, overseeing the design, photo, art and copy desk departments. He worked at the Arizona Daily Star from 1993 to 2000 as a page designer and art director.

A 1993 UA journalism graduate, Douglas holds a master's in art and design from the Robert Gordon University, Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. He also has undertaken CD and book design projects.

Douglas teaches Publication Design. He first began teaching in the department in 1999.
