Gawain Douglas is the design and production manager at Learning A-Z, an educational publishing company.

Douglas worked at the Tucson Citizen from 2003 until the paper ceased print publication in May 2009. He joined the staff of the Tucson Citizen as a page designer and in 2005 was promoted to senior editor for presentation, overseeing the design, photo, art and copy desk departments. He worked at the Arizona Daily Star from 1993 to 2000 as a page designer and art director.

A 1993 UA journalism graduate, Douglas holds a master's in art and design from the Robert Gordon University, Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. He also has undertaken CD and book design projects.

Douglas teaches Publication Design. He first began teaching in the school in 1999.
