PEOPLE: SARAH GARRECHT GASSENOffice: Marshall 347 E-mail - sgassen@email.arizona.edu Sarah Garrecht Gassen is a features reporter for the Arizona Daily Star, where she has worked since 1996. She also has covered education, city government and general assignments for the Star's metro news department and served on the paper's editorial board as an opinion writer. The 1995 UA journalism graduate and former Arizona Daily Wildcat editor-in-chief also reported on government issues in nearby Oro Valley. Gassen also spent time as a general assignment reporter for The Associated Press. She has been with the department since 2003 and currently teaches Advanced Reporting. |
