James Gregg is a staff photographer at the Arizona Daily Star.

Gregg was named first runner up for Photojournalist of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association. He has twice been named Photographer of the Year by the Arizona Press Club.

Gregg joined the Star in 2006 from the Greeley Tribune. He holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas and studied abroad at the University of Costa Rica.

Gregg will be assisting in numerous classes, including Reporting with Multimedia (Jour 507), Principles of Multimedia (Jour 307) and Advanced Photojournalism (Jour 497B).
