Stephanie Innes is the medical reporter for the Arizona Daily Star.

She has worked at the Star since 1999, first covering police. In 2000 Innes developed a religion beat for the news section, which she held for eight years. She has also worked as a news reporter for the Tucson Citizen, the Arizona Daily Sun in Flagstaff and the Mississauga News in Ontario Canada. Innes interned for the Toronto Globe and Mail in Toronto Canada.

Innes earned an honors English degree from the University of Western Ontario in Canada in 1988 and a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University in 1992.

She is team-teaching Reporting Public Affairs with Rhonda Bodfield.
