Lew Serviss joined the UA in 2008 after 30 years as a writer and editor for newspapers in New York, Washington, Orlando, Buffalo and Trenton, N.J.

Before moving to Tucson, he lived for 24 years in New York, where he was a senior editor for New York Newsday and The New York Times. He also did stints covering public telecommunications in Washington, launching an award-winning international newsweekly (The American) and editing in Paris for The International Herald Tribune.

He teaches Editing classes.
