Glenn Weyant has worked as a freelancer in Tucson since 2000, writing for such publications as the Tucson Weekly, Desert Leaf, the Arizona Jewish Post and the Arizona Daily Star. He's the founder of SonicAnta, an exploration of sonic boundaries with a dedicated Web site.

A 1986 Hofstra University graduate, Weyant has won numerous writing awards from the press associations of New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. He also spent time as an assistant editor for the UA Department of Atmospheric Sciences.

He teaches Feature Writing in the school.
