Phil Nopper is the business manager for the Department of Journalism.

He came to the UA in 2001 as an administrator in the Office of Sponsored Projects. In 2002 he became business manager for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies. Most recently, he has had the dual position of business manager for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Journalism.

He is a 1990 graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in banking and finance. His professional experience includes seven years with the Arizona Department of Corrections prior to his arrival at the UA.
