The Chronicle is the workshop newspaper for the Journalism Diversity Workshop for Arizona High School Students. The 12-day program is headed by Professor William F. "Bill" Greer at the Department of Journalism. The paper is produced entirely by the high school students with some help from their advisers.

The Chronicle covers news from all over the Tucson community and issues and trends concerning teens and individuals around the country.

Copies of The Chronicle are mailed to the program's sponsors and are made available for the students and their families. For those interested for a copy, please contact the department.

The UA Department of Journalism has hosted the program for more than 25 years. The Journalism Diversity Workshop is sponsored by Tucson Citizen/Gannett Foundation, The Arizona Republic/Gannett Foundation, Dow Jones Newspaper Fund and The Arizona Daily Star.
