SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS
The University of Arizona chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists has won national recognition as the top chapter in a four-state region. Evidence of student memberss professionalism and commitment to the field of journalism can best be seen in the chapter's willingness to host the professional Society of Professional Journalists regional 11 conference April 11-12, 2008. Student members are welcome to attend. Register here.
The chapter sends its members to various journalism conferences around the country in an effort to supplement their education. Any student can attend any SPJ function to learn more about journalism or meet new friends.
