The public can now buy tickets for the University of Arizona School of Journalism’s 2016 Zenger Award for Press Freedom reception and dinner on Friday, Oct. 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Westward Look, 245 E. Ina Road.
This year’s honoree is Washington Post investigative reporter Dana Priest, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner.
Tickets for the Zenger reception and dinner are $85 per person ($35 is tax-deductible), or $1,000 per table ($500 is tax-deductible).
You can pay for tickets online through the UA Foundation at uafoundation.org/netcommunity/events/2016ZengerDinner.
Or you can purchase tickets through the mail by sending a check to:

Given by the school since 1954, the Zenger award honors journalists who fight for freedom of the press and the people’s right to know.
Priest won Pulitzer Prizes in 2006 for uncovering secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe in and in 2008 for reporting on deplorable conditions for veterans at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington.
