A Homecoming gathering for School of Journalism alumni will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Reading Room (312) on the third floor of the Marshall Building, 845 N. Park Ave.
Go here for directions. Visit with Director David Cuillier and take a tour of the school facilities. Afterward, alums can visit the Arizona Daily Wildcat at the Park Student Union, 615 N. Park Ave.
Journalism alums also have organized reunion events (the game vs. Stanford is at 8 p.m.):
From Frank Sotomayor: Calling all members of the journalism classes of 1965, 1966 and 1967! It’s time for your half-century journalism/Daily Wildcat reunion, to take place Oct. 28-29 in conjunction with UA Homecoming. Nann Novinski Durando and Frank Sotomayor, both Class of 1966, have organized a get-together to recall old times (like putting the Wildcat together in the typewriter and linotype days) and to renew ole friendships.
A dinner is scheduled for Friday Oct. 28, at Casa Molina on Speedway, to be followed by a party at the nearby Sonesta ES Suites. On Saturday, Oct. 29, “reunionees” will meet at the School of Journalism’s open house at 10:30 a.m.
