Faculty Kudos - Week of March 31, 2014

Kim Newton will take part in a symposium on "The Changing Landscape of Journalism and Ethics through Theatre, Film and Photography" in Prescott April 6. Newton will discuss photojournalism ethics, the changing landscape in photojournalism and present awards to winners of a local photojournalism contest. The festival and symposium will examine the effects of the Internet on journalism and the face of journalism ethics in the current landscape. Details: http://www.theartistspath.org/index.html

Carol Schwalbe’s proposal to create a Center for Science Communication is a finalist in a competition sponsored by the UA Foundation’s GIFT Center. Two winners will receive $4,000 for their projects.
