Information for Recruiters
The School of Journalism works with dozens of media organizations who offer valuable internship experiences to our students.
We have determined certain criteria that media organizations must meet for internships to be approved for credit. Download the School of Journalism Internship/Intern Hosting Requirements.
The School of Journalism does not grant credit for internships in PR, marketing or advertising. Students can earn credit for those types of internship through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences or the Eller College of Management.
Finding an Intern
Please contact interim internship coordinator Ethan Schwalbe if you would like to discuss an internship opportunity for UA journalism students.
At the end of the internship, the supervisor evaluation must be filled out by the on-site supervisor and emailed back to the School Internship Coordinator.
