- Background/goals: After earning an MPH and MA in Latin American Studies, I stayed at UA for a doctorate. My focus in journalism is on highlighting issues surrounding immigration, human rights, and sexual violence.
- Why UA: I am minoring in journalism while earning a doctorate in public health to learn how to enhance the advocacy piece of health equity in our society.
