Library offers guide on how to spot 'fake news'

Students and faculty can find resources for evaluating news sources and "fake news," thanks to University of Arizona Libraries' new "News Literacy" guide.

Click here to see the guide. It includes links to "What is fake news?" and "Reliable News Sources" and "Checking your sources."

"I hope it will be useful to you and your students," said Mary Feeney, a Social Sciences librarian in the Research & Learning Department.

Feeney and a few of her colleagues researched and produced the website, which is also linked from the Journalism subject guide on the library website.
