Conor Villines
M.A. Student
- Specialty: General Journalism
- Areas of Interest: Narrative non-fiction, history, foreign affairs
- Undergrad degree: History, University of Arizona
- Hometown: Fresno, California
- Background/goals: I am admittedly interested in studying history and politics rather than working in media, and I believe that studying journalism provides a skillset which makes me a stronger writer and researcher when analyzing any topic for nonacademic audiences. I strive to be the west coast's David McCullough, study American history and ski for the rest of my life.
- Why UA: My undergraduate experience at the University of Arizona was great, and the Journalism school has given me the education I want to compliment my undergraduate History and Political Science studies. Go Cats!
