Dilan Erteber

Dilan Erteber is a PhD candidate in the Department of American Indian Studies at the University of Arizona, specializing in Indigenous film and literature, transnational cinema, and visual culture. Her dissertation, "Indigenous Film as a Storytelling Practice," explores oral traditions, community-centered narratives, and global distribution circuits across North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania. She also serves as lab director for the Navajo Mentor-Apprentice Program, supporting language revitalization and intergenerational knowledge transmission.
