Advising

Please make appointments HERE.

The University of Arizona recognizes academic advising to be a critical component of the educational experience of its undergraduate students. Through individual, collaborative relationships with academic advisers, students are best able to define and implement sound educational plans that are consistent with their personal values, goals and career plans.

Academic advising for journalism and pre-journalism majors and journalism minors will be handled in the School of Journalism, Room 325. Students seeking advising for the journalism major and minor can seek an appointment with Paloma Boykin, journalism academic advisor, through Wise Advising.

PLEASE NOTE: To become a journalism minor, you must be declared into the minor. There are no pre-requisites, but students can only declare the minor by meeting with the journalism advisor. Contact her by email or during her walk-in hours (listed below).
