A delegation representing member states of the European Union (EU) visited the School of Journalism on Nov. 12, 2025.

The University of Arizona School of Journalism and the Center for Border and Global Journalism hosted a group of press officers and diplomats representing countries in the European Union (EU) for a discussion on journalistic best practices and global media relations Nov. 12.

Members of the group met with faculty to discuss topics such as press freedom, education and combating misinformation. Faculty members also shared their research findings related to science communication, social media’s influence on journalism and emerging technologies, such as AI.
