Background/goals: I have worked as a freelance translator for organizations of persons with disabilities and other institutions since 2016. I also have experience as a part-time English language teacher. My goal is to contribute effectively to disability advocacy by working as a media professional. 

Why UA?: I was selected for the Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Program (DISP) Cohort 1 under the USAID. As this university is a partner institution of the program and offers online degree options in subjects I am passionate about, I chose to pursue my studies here.
